Never one to rest on his laurels, Dutchman Fedde le Grand slams into the fray once more with a staggering selection of seven mind-blowing remixes of his February smash hit Back & Forth.

As well as enlisting the services of some of the hottest underground talent around, just for good measure Fedde also throws one of the best new edits in himself.

Pushing the ‘jumped up’ sound of current Dutch House, the bouncing beats, syncopated pianos and instrumentals of Eric Chase’s result in a ‘big room’ edit that should make house heads happy. Thudding bass and electronic bleepery run amok throughout the Promiseland & Provenzano’s Vocal Mix, while Blackbird alumni Jordy Lishious reduces Fedde’s original piece to its absolute bare bones, crafting it across seven minutes towards a monumentally bass-heavy explosion. Electrokid & Dave Lambert’s thundering and pacey remix has a phat injection of funk running right the way through its core, Rene Amesz brings his own groove-fuelled style to proceedings and Youri Donatz & Franky Rizardo pretty much remove the vocals, instead bulking out the track’s rhythmic elements for a monstrous bass-heavy warper.

Making this a truly lip-smacking double release for Flamingo Recordings, Fedde himself releases Back & Forth (Fedde’s Future Funk Remix). Completely replacing the original and incredibly distinctive bassline, he goes on to create a totally new funky-as-f*ck track that has so much groove oozing from it that it will undoubtedly have dance floors from Amsterdam to Miami rocking till they drop this spring. Once again, we sense yet another hit in the offing for Mr le Grand.
