What's up with all the fake profiles voting for remixes?post a reply
I totaly agreed with you! The nº1 remix at this momment just voted himself, and did redicular comments to his own track. Shame...
But actually no one needs to make a IP check. Because ALL the people that voted in the nº1 remix born at January 1st lol

Guys, seriously. Ain\'t there anyone but me who\'s against people making fake profiles voting for their tracks? Why not have a fair competition without \"virtual doping\", and have some fun at the same time. We\'ve spend lots of hours in the studio making a remix which we believe is good, and suddently guys like Lucas Moonrise makes tons of fake profiles to vote for his track. Let\'s make this a fair competition for everyone instead of that unserious crap ..
Administrators, please make a IP check and ban the cheaters from the competition. Or check everyone in top 5 who\'s received many thumbs up lately, and use common sense to figure out which people are faking all the way. It\'s so obvious!
If anyone supports me, please make a comment to this post .. I\'m not a whiner, I just want a fair and clean competition for everyone!
May the best remix win!
Mark
I totally agree!!!! I hope the Fedde team will do something about this.. Cause this is just not cool...
This is the inevitable problem with all of these types of remix competitions. People who create fake profiles, or try to do a "click me and I'll click you" thing, or even just leave a message on every 17,000+ members of the communities pages, truly ruin the true intention of remix contests. I do think that the Fedde team anticipated this to some extent when they put in the rules that the top five spun tracks AS WELL AS five tracks choosen by the Flamingo Recordings crew would be sent o Fedde for final judgement. Hopefully, the remixes with a lot of merit and creativity will not need to succumb to the "spin" game and will get to the top because they are really good. I guess in the end, I am hoping more that one of the Flamingo guys really digs my remix and champions it, rather than getting a bunch of unwarranted spins. I want to win because I am a good producer, and not because I am an an unscrupulous marketer with a sub-par product. In fact, I hope that the top 5 vote getters do come from the "cheats" because it will be much easier for the 5 remixes choosen by the Flamingo team to really stand out when Fedde goes to listen to the top 10. Just my two cents...oh wait, I'm from the United States, so I guess our recession makes it more valued at like 1 and 1/2 cents
I don\'t have to defend myself for you guys. Like i\'d ask Mark earlier, define \"cheating\". The thing is, I ask all my friends to vote for me, and they help me out! I didn\'t know that you competers were against when unactivte persons join feddelegrand.com only for the purpose of listening/voting. I mean damn guys! There is a \"Share\" buttom on your track! And I don\'t think the reason for it is to post \"Hi guys, become a member @ feddelegrand.com and listen to my track, but do not vote!\"
But I really here you guys. I will actually tell my friends to sattle down.
And Miguel - My voters are\'nt all born at No1 Januari? And if some of them are, it\'s probably because they don\'t \"have the energy\" to vrite proper information.
And Mark - Do you think you're the only one who have spent a lots of ours in the studio?? Seriosly.
Lucas
Pardon me guys, but isn't it necessary for someone to register BEFORE they can vote?? Consider the wild notion of already having a fan base prior to this competition and then informing them of your participation in the contest. Obviously these people who would want to support you and help you would need to make new profile to vote. So if you are calling foul because there are many new members on the site voting for a particular patron of the competition, please consider the fact that the contest is structured in a way that promotes this type of behavior. It is not the easiest task to convince people to register for a website just so they can vote for your track, let alone complete all the optional info in the profiles in which the majority wont have the intention of revisiting. I have heard a lot of great tracks on here, a few of which I think are better than ours. May the best track win and Good Luck to all.
@JurX you are creating accounts just for vote in your track. You re stupid or what? Be honest, and if you think you can't win in the honest way (sure you can't) get the fuck off!
@Lucas Moonrise OK then, thanks for the explain!
I think that would be better if every1 could vote without account, but just vote 1 time (1 IP only)
