Tech-house/ Techno Basslinespost a reply
yeah that one is super beautiful!
I love it
Ehm well a thing you can do is eqing a lot, take out any higher frequencies and mids and just keep the low frequencies, like everything under 200 Hz. maybe push that a bit. I can hear a bit legato I think. but that could be me:p and which plugin? any plugin that allows you to take a sine bass. All you need. oh and work on the attack. make it a bit longer, but not too long that it sounds off beat, but long enough so you dont have the hard start...
I will try to make a tutorial once
what are you working with, so which daw?
Thanks for the reply Sten! Yeah I love that kind of bass sound its wicked! I've always been working with Sine waves but I still struggle to get anything like that sound haha but I'll keep trying
A tutorial would be great if you could get something together! I'm working with Cubase 5 at the moment.
ah ok. I work with FL. do you have sylenth1? cuz then I can make a tutorial and maybe send you the preset file, so you can check it out
which synthesizers do u use??
Yeah I've got sylenth, minimoog V, Future audio workshop - Circle, Nexus, Massive, Rob Papen Blue and Predator!

So I'm starting to learn a bit about producing and I'm baffled about how people make really deep and bouncy basslines! I'm trying to recreate a bassline sound similar to this:

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?
Cheers!
