Your CD-Mappost a reply
Hey Steven,
I used to burn just 1 single track or an EP onto on cd. however this means that your 280 cd folder will be full very soon. If you think about it, having 280 songs with you is not really enough. i usually have around 1000 songs with me, make sure i can adapt to the crowd i have to play for. Now i started putting 10 tracks on each cd. i then order them in my folder according to the ''time of my set.'' by this i mean that all the songs i usually play when i play an early set are at the front, and the ''harder songs'' i play in a later set are at the back. If u structure ur folder like this it'll prevent you from playing a too ''hard'' or too ''soft'' of a song depending on the time of your set. Burning 10 to a cd also means you dont have to buy so many empty CD's
Hope i could've been of help!
Rob
Yeah! Thanks, i am burning 10 tracks on a cd as well, but there are very many different tracks in the house and tech-style. How do you make that work? Do you only burn the tracks you think they fit well? Or are there some other tracks on it just to fill the cd's?
thanks for your structure!
One track on one cd with a single sd card for every cd. But now all the clubs have a cdj 2000 so i only have my set prepared in record box on a sd card
I'm just burning 1 track per CD. That gives me totally freedom of playing the tracks...
I burn 10 tracks on each CD, I'm going to buy a CD Map: I found one with 80 'cd places', so I have 800 songs with me, for 20 euro's. Do you guys think that's good enough? Thanx;-)
i use one track per cd so i can label the key
What do you mean with label the key?

I was wondering, because my girlfriend gave me a UDG 280 CD map (
), how you guys orden your CD's. I burn all my tracks (like 12) on 1 cd and before I only used the small UDG maps which I got with my trolleybag. But I see all the "big" DJ's with only 1 or 2 tracks on their CD's. What about you?
